• We collect personal information when you provide it through website forms, emails, and offline interactions.

• SMS name and phone numbers collected for communication purposes will not be shared with any third party and affiliates for marketing purposes.

• Message frequency may vary between 3 and 5 depending on the type of communication per reservation. 

• Data rates may apply based on your carrier's plan.

• You can opt out at any time by texting "STOP" to any text message you already received, contact us directly to request removal from our messaging list at 989/539-3111, or choose NOT to check the SMS consent box on our online form on our website

• Reservation scheduling, reminders, location, and access information

• Follow-up messages to confirm arrival, departure, and satisfaction

• Billing notifications, payment reminders, and confirmation

Example: "Hello Stacy!! Looking forward to your stay at Harrison Shady Acres! When you get here today, you can go straight to your campsite #30.  If you need to use the public restrooms/showers or laundry in the green building, the access code is ###. The WiFi is ### and password is ###.  Reply STOP to opt-out of SMS messaging. Or HELP for assistance."

Example: "Good morning William! You are scheduled to check out today by 12 noon. Sure hope you enjoyed your visit! Would be happy to see that you plan to return soon! Please feel free to reply back with your thoughts on your stay at Harrison Shady Acres as all feedback is helpful!! Reply STOP to opt-out of SMS messaging. Or HELP for assistance."

Example: "HSAC Update! Quick Reminders: Please do not use fireworks on the campground as mandated by insurance…AND, please remember to always parallel park in front of or on the side of your RV…AND please off load your trailers immediately and park them across on the overflow site. And remember to take the trailers and boats home when you leave. Have a great holiday weekend!! Reply STOP to opt-out of SMS messaging. Or HELP for assistance.

3- Message Frequency:  Depending on the type of communication, you may receive 3 to 5 SMS messages per reservation related to your payment/receipt, check-in information you will need while visiting (like campsite number, WiFi access codes, etc.) and check-out information.

"Message frequency may vary. You may receive 3 to 5 SMS messages depending on the type of communication regarding your reservation."

4- Potential Fees for SMS Messaging:  Please note that standard message and data rates may apply, depending on your carrier’s pricing plan. These fees may vary if the message is sent domestically or internationally.

5- Opt-In Method:  You may opt-in to receive SMS messages from Harrison Shady Acres in the following ways:

• Verbally, during a conversation

• When making a reservation online

• By submitting an online form on our website and checking the Opt-In consent box.

6- Opt-Out Method:  You can opt out of receiving SMS messages at any time. To do so, simply:

• Reply "STOP" to any SMS message you receive.
